Class 1 - Semi-Vac Operator

Responsibilities:

- Operate equipment as per company and customer expectations
- Maintain equipment in accordance with company and manufacturer requirements
- Perform thorough daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
- Maintain accurate ELD logs and required documents.
- Attend daily safety meetings
- Follow the safety program, including all policies,procedures and practices
- Maintain valid safety tickets & site orientations asrequired

Qualification and Competencies:

- Minimum 3 Years, valid Class 1 Licensew/ Clean Abstract with Air Brakes
- Must be Experienced with the operation of a Semi Vac
- 13 or 18 Speed Transmission experience (must be able to drive manual transmission)
- Strong communicator with staff,



managers and other drivers
- Instructor certified First Aid & H2S Alive
- CSE, CSTS, Fall Protection, Ground Disturbance are considered assets
- Operate a heavy vehicle in challenging environments, in allweather, and in compliance with legal, company, and client requirements
- Willingness to provide references, consent to a criminal record check and complete pre-employment alcohol & drug testing
- Excellent safety record and a commitment to safework practices
- Must be physically fit to enter and exit the vehicle many times per day, inspect under vehicle and trailer, and climb
- Willingness to Travel
