Duties

- Safely operate Class AZ commercial trucks on cross-border routes, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies
- Manage freight loading and unloading processes, utilizing forklift skills when necessary to handle cargo efficiently
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure optimal safety and performance
- Coordinate with dispatchers to plan routes, optimize delivery schedules, and communicate any delays or issues promptly
- Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting as needed to maintain vehicle readiness during trips
- Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts for cargo handling at terminals or warehouses
- Ensure all freight is secured properly for transit,



preventing damage or loss during transport

Skills

- Valid Class AZ commercial driver’s license with proven experience of one year in long-haul cross-border routes
- Should be above 23 years of age.
- Strong knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety protocols
- Proficiency in forklift operation for loading/unloading freight safely and efficiently
- Ability to perform basic automotive repairs and troubleshoot vehicle issues on the road
- Familiarity with heavy equipment operation relevant to cargo management
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with dispatchers, border officials, and clients
- Commitment to safety standards and regulatory compliance at all times
- Clean driving record.
