Class 5 Delivery Driver

Lekker Food Distributors is seeking a committed, energetic, and self-motivated Class 5 Delivery Driver to operate out of our Richmond location.

We are looking for someone who will:

· Deliver products to our customers providing first-class customer service

· Operate company equipment safely and efficiently

· Communicate with customers in a professional manner





· Check freight prior to loading and unloading to ensure proper count and condition

· Perform preventative maintenance checks and pre-trip inspections on equipment

Requirements:

· Minimum valid Class 5 Driver’s License

· 5 ton experience an asset but not required

· Driver’s abstract

· Capable of lifting 20 kg; job can be physically demanding

· Knowledge of the lower mainland area an asset

Additional details:

· This is a permanent position working approx. 40 hours per week

· Tuesday through Saturday day shifts/early start (5:00 am)

· $28.11 per hour starting wage + bonus
