Banquet Hall Staff – Cleaning, Food Runner & Hall Setup The Guelph Estate Convention Centre & Banquet Hall – Guelph, ON

We are looking for reliable, hardworking banquet hall staff to join our event team. This position is mainly focused on cleaning, food running, hall setup, and event support for weddings, parties, corporate events, and other functions.

Main Duties

- Set up tables, chairs, stages, linens, and other event equipment
- Move and arrange tables and chairs according to floor plans
- Help prepare the banquet hall before events
- Run food from the kitchen to buffet and service areas
- Assist servers and kitchen staff when required
- Transparent tables, dishes, glasses, and garbage during events
- Clean banquet halls, lobby, washrooms, kitchen/service areas, and other spaces
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and perform general cleaning
- Help with teardown and cleanup after events
- Return tables, chairs, and equipment to storage after events
- Follow instructions from the Event Coordinator or Manager




- Help wherever needed to keep events running smoothly

Requirements
- Reliable and punctual
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable with physical work and being on your feet for long periods
- Willing to perform cleaning duties
- Able to work as part of a team
- Must be available for evenings, weekends, and late-night shifts, depending on event schedules

Position Part-Time / On-Call Event Staff

Hours will vary depending on our event schedule. This is a good opportunity for someone looking for flexible evening and weekend work.
