Classic Building Cleaners has been proudly serving the community for over 40 years. We're looking for a reliable Cleaning Floater to join our team. This position requires traveling to various locations each evening to fill in for sick calls, vacations, and helping where needed. A schedule for each night is emailed out each afternoon. Shifts run Monday to Friday.

Full Time Hours: 35-40 per week

Security and Safety: Bondable, Criminal record check

*Must be able to pass a criminal background check

Transportation/Travel Information: MUST have your own vehicle

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Work under pressure, Tight deadlines, Repetitive tasks, Physically demanding, Combination of sitting, standing, walking, Standing for extended periods, Bending, kneeling, Handling heavy loads

Compensation & Travel :Mileage for travel between assigned job sites will be reimbursed at $0.65 per kilometre.

Values and ethics

Experience

- Minimum of 1 year of experience in custodial or commercial cleaning
- Knowledge of cleaning products, equipment, and techniques is an asset
- Detail-oriented and able to work both independently and as part of a team
- Strong time-management skills to complete tasks efficiently and on schedule
- Positive attitude with a solid commitment to delivering excellent service

Ability to work in a team: 1 to 4 people

Languages: English

Education: No degree, certificate or diploma

Start date: As soon as possible

Credentials (certificates, licenses, memberships, courses, etc.) Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate

Job Types: Permanent, Full-time

Pay: $18.75 per hour
