We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) to join our Clinical Department in the combined role of Clinical Director Assistant and Substitute Clinical Supervisor. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys a diverse workload, supporting students, clinic operations, and clinical education.

Position Details

Position Title: Clinical Director Assistant & Substitute Clinical Supervisor

Status: Ongoing, Part-Time

Scheduled Hours: 14 hours per week, plus substitute supervisory shifts as required

Regular Schedule: Tuesdays and Thursdays: 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

On-Call Supervisory Availability: Monday through Thursday evenings

Daytime support on Tuesdays and Thursdays for in-reach and outreach

Position Summary

Reporting to the Clinical Director, the successful candidate will provide administrative support to the Clinical Department while serving as a substitute Clinical Supervisor when required. This role plays a key part in supporting clinic operations, student success, and the delivery of high-quality clinical education.





As part of OVCMT's long-term succession planning strategy, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to receive mentorship, training, and progressive exposure to leadership responsibilities within the Clinical Department. This position is intended to support the development of a future Clinical Director, subject to organizational needs and performance. This is a unique pathway for an RMT interested in advancing into an educational leadership role.

Key Responsibilities

· Provide administrative and operational support including scheduling and payment processing

· Manage logistics for community events, including venue, participants and equipment

· Develop and maintain relationships with community partners and students

· Manage students registration and communication

· Evaluate event success and provide recommendations for future improvements

· Maintain accurate records and support efficient clinic workflows.

· Assist with clinic-related classroom and preparation activities.

· Substitute Supervisor for student clinics, in-reach/outreach, and community events as needed.

· Communicate key updates, issues, and recommendations to the Clinical Director.

Qualifications

Required





· Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) in good standing with the CCHPBC.

· Minimum two years of professional practice experience.

· Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

· High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

· Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

· Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

Preferred:

· Experience working in an administrative or qualified office environment.

· Experience using Jane App or similar practice management software.

· Previous experience mentoring, supervising, teaching, or supporting students.

· Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

· Commitment to continuing education and professional development.

Compensation & Benefits
