Description The Team The Court Administration team in the Ministry of Attorney General is an established team of 21 employees who play an essential role in supporting the administration of justice through the processing of documentation across Accounting, Civil, and Criminal program areas. Team members work closely with Court Clerks, Combo Court Clerks, Deputy District Registrars, Justices of the Peace, and the Judiciary in a collaborative and respectful environment that values diverse perspectives, inclusion, and service excellence. United by a collective commitment to operational excellence, the team's work helps ensure that critical court processes run smoothly and that justice services remain accessible and effective for the public.
The Role
This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by helping people access and navigate the justice system every day. You will operate and maintain case tracking systems, interpret complex documentation, provide information services to court users, and support a variety of administrative functions, creating a role that is engaging, diverse, and never routine. Working in an open and inclusive space that values different perspectives and experiences, you will contribute to making justice more accessible while being part of work that is visible, important, and connected to a larger public service purpose.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience Requirements
- Grade 12 or equivalent (e.g. GED)
- Minimum one year of experience working in an office environment
- Minimum one year of experience in keyboarding, data entry, word processing and standard computer applications
- Must have a keyboarding minimum speed of 40 WPM
Preference may be given to those with
- Experience with JUSTIN and/or CEIS and CCD
- Experience or education in a related legal environment
- Experience delivering customer service
- Experience in registry and in court activity programs

This position requires full-time, in-person work.
An eligibility list may be established to fill future temporary and/or permanent vacancies.
