Position Overview:

Service Mold + Aerospace Inc. is seeking a skilled CMM Operator to join our dynamic team. As a leading player in the aerospace industry, we prioritize precision and excellence in our manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in quality control, specifically with Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM).

Responsibilities:

- Conduct accurate and effective inspections using CMM equipment to ensure the quality of aerospace components.
- Interpret and analyze CMM data to identify deviations from engineering specifications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality-related issues and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain and calibrate CMM equipment to ensure optimal performance and accuracy.
- Generate detailed inspection reports and documentation for quality records.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality control processes.

Qualifications:

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality control, with a focus on CMM operation.
- Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings,



specifications, and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T;).
- Experience with PC Dmis and/or Polyworks software.
- Experience with Dea Gantry CMM and/or Leica Laser Tracker.
- Strong attention to detail and precision, with a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
- Familiarity with aerospace industry standards and AS9100 regulations is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Experience with programming and operating CMM software is preferred.

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent is required. Additional technical certifications in quality control or metrology are a plus.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Must be available to work swing shifts.
- Criminal records check (police clearance) required.
