The Children’s Hospital Research Institute of Manitoba (CHRIM) is seeking a Communications & Digital Coordinator to support the delivery of engaging and impactful communications that showcase the key work of our researchers and the difference it makes in the lives of children and youth.

Reporting to the Director of Communications, this role is ideal for someone who enjoys bringing stories to life through digital platforms and creative content. You will play a key role in executing CHRIM’s communications across social media, website, newsletters, and events, helping to raise awareness and strengthen engagement with our community.

In this role, you will:

- Create, edit, and publish content for CHRIM’s website, blog, and newsletters
- Develop and manage social media content, including writing posts and tracking engagement
- Capture and produce photo and video content to support storytelling initiatives
- Design graphics and promotional materials for digital and print use
- Maintain and update website content to ensure accuracy and relevance
- Support communications for events, campaigns, and organizational initiatives




- Coordinate with researchers, staff, and partners to gather and develop content

We are looking for someone who:

- Has a degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field
- Has 1–3 years of experience in communications, digital media, or a related role
- Is a strong writer with the ability to adapt tone for different audiences
- Is comfortable working across social media platforms and digital tools
- Has experience with graphic design and content creation (e.g., Canva or similar)
- Has experience with photography and/or videography (an asset)
- Is organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities
