Duties

- Assist in food preparation, including chopping, assembling ingredients, and plating dishes according to established recipes and standards
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste properly
- Support the cooking process by following instructions from chefs and ensuring timely delivery of meals
- Handle food safety procedures diligently, adhering to hygiene regulations and proper food handling techniques
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, fryers, and microwaves




- Assist with stock management by organizing ingredients and supplies, checking for freshness and expiry dates
- Support front-of-house staff with serving food when needed and ensuring guest satisfaction through prompt service

Experience

- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly desirable
- Familiarity with food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen safety protocols
- Customer service skills that enable friendly interactions with guests and team members
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper hygiene practices in hospitality settings
- Experience working in breakfast/ lunch
- Robust communication skills to collaborate effectively within a busy team environment
