Duties

- Assist in food preparation, including chopping, assembling ingredients, and following recipes to ensure quality standards are met
- Support the kitchen team with cooking tasks, ensuring meals are prepared efficiently and safely
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen surfaces, utensils, and equipment to uphold food safety standards
- Handle food items safely, adhering to hygiene regulations and proper storage procedures
- Assist with serving food to customers or guests in a timely and friendly manner
- Support cash handling and POS (Point of Sale) operations when required for meal service or takeaway orders
- Contribute to overall kitchen organization by restocking supplies and managing waste disposal efficiently





Skills

- Previous food service experience or kitchen experience is highly desirable
- Strong understanding of food safety practices and handling procedures
- Excellent communication skills to work effectively within a team and interact with customers when needed
- Ability to perform meal preparation tasks accurately and efficiently under supervision
- Experience with restaurant POS systems such as Micros POS is advantageous
- Knowledge of hospitality standards, including guest services and customer satisfaction techniques
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards consistently in a fast-paced environment
