Our client is looking for Data Analyst to transform project data into actionable insights, maintain reliable portfolio reporting, improve business processes, and communicate findings to project teams and senior leadership - 7307

1 year contract, Hybrid 2-3 days in downtown Vancouver office, 37.5 hrs a week

Please note that for the successful candidate will be required to provide and use their own laptop for the duration of the contract.

Must haves:

- Power BI experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or related discipline
- Advanced English skills for skilled environment, written and spoken

Nice to haves:

- Microsoft Dynamics
- Work Assignment Requirements

Core Responsibilities

- Data analytics: Extract, clean, transform, and analyze project performance data from SAP-BW and other systems.
- Performance reporting: Produce standardized monthly/quarterly reports and timely ad hoc analysis.
- Insight communication: Present analytical findings and reporting results clearly to project teams, senior leaders, and other audiences.
- Portfolio processes: Support or facilitate activities such as forecast deep-dive reviews and project releases.
- Process improvement: Identify reporting gaps and recommend improvements based on analytical judgment and business needs.
- Reporting automation/standardization: Develop repeatable reports and processes that improve efficiency.




- Process documentation: Document the team's operational processes and analytical activities.
- Technology partnership: Work with the Technology Business Unit to ensure the underlying systems supporting Portfolio Management reporting are delivered and maintained for on-demand data access.
- Problem solving: Independently resolve moderately complex issues within the role's authority, escalating or seeking input on more complex matters.
- Team support: Assist senior team members and Team Leads as required.
- Power BI experience is a must have requirments.
