Job Summary

We are seeking a energetic and detail-oriented Data Generalist to join our innovative data team. Duties

- Collect, clean, and organize diverse datasets from multiple sources using tools like SQL, Python, and Shell Scripting to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
- Develop and maintain data pipelines utilizing technologies such as Apache Hive, Spark, Hadoop, and Informatica to facilitate efficient data flow across systems.
- Design and optimize data warehouses and database schemas using Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, and other relational database management systems to support analytics initiatives.
- Collaborate within Agile teams to implement data solutions that align with project goals and deliver timely insights for business stakeholders.
- Perform complex analysis using analytics tools and techniques to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies that inform strategic decisions.
- Support the development of dashboards and reports leveraging VBA, SQL, and visualization tools to communicate findings effectively across teams.




- Assist in the implementation of cloud-based solutions on AWS environments for scalable data processing and storage needs.

Requirements

- Proven experience working with Big Data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, Apache Hive, or similar platforms.
- Strong proficiency in SQL programming with experience in Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, or equivalent databases.
- Hands-on knowledge of cloud services like AWS for data storage, processing, or analytics projects.
- Familiarity with programming languages including Python, Java, Bash (Unix shell), or Shell Scripting for automation tasks.
- Experience designing and managing Data Warehouses or Data Lakes within an enterprise setting.
- Excellent analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets into clear insights.
- Knowledge of database design principles and best practices for scalable data architecture.
- Ability to work within Agile methodologies in a quick-moving workplace while managing multiple priorities effectively.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate across technical teams and translate technical findings into business language.
