We are seeking a passionate and energetic Day Baker to join our vibrant bakery team! This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your culinary skills while providing exceptional customer service and ensuring food safety standards are met. If you thrive in a lively kitchen setting and love creating delicious treats from scratch, this is the perfect role for you! Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

The job also requires unloading a delivery truck twice a week.

Responsibilities

- Prepare and bake a variety of baked goods including bread, pastries, cakes, and cookies with precision and creativity
- Decorate cakes and desserts using various techniques to meet customer specifications and presentation standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery station, adhering to food handling and safety protocols
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as measuring ingredients, mixing batters, and assembling products for baking
- Package baked goods efficiently for sale or delivery while ensuring product quality and presentation




- Monitor baking times and temperatures to ensure consistent results across all products
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals and uphold high standards of quality and freshness

Experience

- Prior experience working in a bakery, restaurant, or food industry setting is highly preferred
- Demonstrated skills in cake decorating, food preparation, and baking techniques
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Experience with kitchen equipment such as mixers, ovens, scales, and packaging tools
- Strong customer service skills to assist customers with product inquiries or special requests
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Kitchen experience that includes food industry best practices for cleanliness, safety, and teamwork
