Responsibilities

- Prepare and assemble deli items such as sandwiches, salads, and hot foods following safety and quality standards
- Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system, including Micros POS, accurately processing transactions and handling cash or card payments
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all food preparation areas in compliance with food safety regulations
- Restock shelves, coolers, and display cases to ensure product availability and visual appeal
- Assist customers with their selections, answer questions about products, and provide excellent service to enhance their shopping experience
- Manage time effectively to ensure food is prepared fresh and orders are completed promptly during busy periods
- Follow proper food handling procedures to uphold health standards and prevent contamination





Skills ● Must be able to speak and understand English

● Must be available to work weekends and evenings

● Must be flexible to work shifts between 9:00 AM and 9:00 PM

● Must be willing to work at multiple locations

● Must be dependable, clean, organized, and able to follow instructions

● Must be comfortable working with raw and cooked food products

● Able to stand for extended periods and perform cleaning, stocking, lifting, and food preparation duties

- Proven experience in food preparation or food service environments, preferably within a deli or grocery store setting
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS for productive cashiering and transaction processing
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and courteously
- Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper food handling techniques
- Basic math skills for cash handling,
- Ability to upsell products by suggesting complementary items or specials to customers
- Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is a plus, demonstrating familiarity with food industry standards

Pay: $15.00-$17.00 per hour
