Duties

- Safely operate delivery vehicles, including trucks and vans, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Load, unload, and secure freight using equipment such as forklifts and heavy machinery when necessary
- Verify delivery orders against shipment documentation for accuracy before dispatching or upon receipt
- Deliver freight efficiently to various locations, ensuring timely arrival and customer satisfaction
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and basic automotive repairs to maintain optimal performance




- Assist with warehouse operations by handling freight movement and operating heavy equipment as needed
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve issues promptly

Qualifications

- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record
- Experience operating forklifts and other heavy equipment in a commercial setting
- Knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety protocols
- Ability to perform basic automotive repairs and troubleshoot vehicle issues
- Strong physical stamina; capable of lifting heavy loads and performing manual tasks regularly
- Prior experience in commercial driving or logistics is preferred but not required; training will be provided for qualified candidates
- Certifications in forklift operation or heavy equipment operation are advantageous

Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour
