Tap Phong Trading Company Inc. has been a landmark supplier of professional cookware, dinnerware, and food service supplies to Toronto’s restaurant and hospitality industry since 1984. We are modernizing our operations and looking for a reliable, energetic Delivery Driver & Operations Associate to operate our Ford Transit 250 commercial cargo van across the Greater Toronto Area.

This is a agile, high-touch B2B delivery role where you serve as the face of the company to our restaurant partners and suppliers. Because we operate as an agile team, this role also involves active warehouse fulfillment, inter-location transfers, and general operational support.

Key Responsibilities

- Commercial Driving & Deliveries: Safely operate a Ford Transit 250 cargo van across daily scheduled routes in Toronto and the GTA. Complete daily pre- and post-trip vehicle circle checks.
- White-Glove B2B Service: Provide friendly, professional service to commercial kitchens and restaurants. Carry orders inside client facilities and stage goods directly onto storage shelves or counters as required.
- Manual Cargo Handling (Hand-Bombing): Manually load and unload cartons, cookware sets, glassware, and tableware crates without mechanical lift assistance (no tailgate).
- Vendor Pickups: Pick up inventory from local GTA suppliers, verify goods against purchase orders, inspect packaging, and secure loads with straps.
- Technology & Route Tracking: Use the CartonCloud TMS app on a company mobile device to log stops, capture digital signatures (e-POD), and manage workflows. Operate vehicles equipped with GPS and fleet telematics.
- Warehouse & Cross-Functional Duties: Pick, pack,



and stage orders; assist with container unloads and cross-docking; transfer stock between our warehouse and retail store; and complete other warehouse, stocking, or facility tasks as assigned to support daily operations.

Requirements & Qualifications

- Driver’s License: Valid Ontario Class G driver’s licence with a clean commercial driving record (clean 3-year abstract required at interview).
- Driving Experience: Minimum 2–3 years of commercial van or delivery driving experience in urban GTA conditions.
- Mandatory Languages:
- Fluent English (verbal and written) for routing, documentation, and operational team communication.
- Fluency in at least ONE of the following is strictly required: Cantonese, Mandarin, or Vietnamese (essential for daily communication with our long-standing B2B restaurant client and vendor base).
- Physical Capability: Ability to repeatedly lift, push, pull, and carry boxes weighing 30 to 60+ lbs throughout the shift.
- Tech Comfort: Comfortable using mobile apps, GPS navigation, and digital delivery workflows on smartphones.
- Clean & Sober: Strict compliance with company zero-tolerance policies regarding alcohol and cannabis/substance use while on duty or operating company vehicles.
