We are seeking a dedicated and organized Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dental practice by providing excellent customer service and administrative support. Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly and manage their check-in and check-out processes.
- Maintain accurate patient records, including electronic medical records and insurance information.
- Answer phone calls promptly, addressing inquiries and providing information about services.
- Assist with billing and payment processing, ensuring all transactions are handled accurately.
- Collaborate with dental staff to ensure seamless patient flow and communication.
- Manage office supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary to maintain inventory levels.
- Uphold confidentiality standards in accordance with IPAC regulations.
- Assist the dentist for general practice duties, Level 2 certification is an asset
- Maintain IPAC protocols and HARP regulations
Skills
- Experience working in a dental office setting is preferred.
- Proficiency in dental software systems like Paradigm is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records and dental terminology is a must.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive and professional attitude.
