Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our energetic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our dental office. This position requires a proactive individual who is passionate about dentistry and committed to supporting both the dental team and our patients.

Responsibilities

- Assist the dentist during various procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared beforehand.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
- Provide excellent patient care by explaining procedures, answering questions, and ensuring patient comfort.
- Maintain accurate patient records, including medical histories and treatment plans.
- Sterilize instruments and maintain cleanliness in the treatment area according to infection control protocols.
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure effective communication and workflow.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as managing inventory, ordering supplies, and handling billing inquiries as needed.

Requirements





- Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar role is preferred.
- Familiarity with dental software such as Dentrix.
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry.
- Experience in pediatrics or orthodontics is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and team members.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Certification in dental assisting or relevant qualifications is preferred.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $24.00-$30.00 per hour
