Lambton Orthodontics is seeking a friendly, motivated, and dependable Dental Assistant to join our team.

Dental assisting experience is preferred. We welcome qualified candidates who are eager to learn and interested in developing their skills in orthodontics.

Responsibilities

- Assist Dr. Tang with orthodontic procedures, including bonding, debonding, adjustments, and appliance delivery.
- Prepare and maintain treatment rooms, instruments, and materials.
- Take orthodontic records, including digital scans, photographs, and radiographs, as permitted by qualifications and applicable regulations.
- Assist with Invisalign and other orthodontic appliances.
- Provide patients and parents with oral hygiene instructions and appliance care information.
- Follow sterilization, infection prevention, and control procedures.




- Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation.
- Monitor patient comfort and provide a positive, reassuring experience throughout appointments.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient clinical environment.
- Work collaboratively with Dr. Tang and the orthodontic team to ensure smooth patient flow.

Qualifications
- Dental Assisting diploma or equivalent qualifications preferred.
- Previous dental assisting experience is preferred.
- Open to other qualified candidates who are motivated and willing to learn.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Friendly, professional, and compassionate approach to patient care.
- Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment.
- Reliable, punctual, and enthusiastic about learning new skills.
