S&S; Transport is a busy flatbed transportation company looking for an experienced Full-Time Truck & Trailer Mechanic to join our team.

We have an in-house shop with a small, experienced team and are looking for someone who is motivated, reliable, productive, and takes pride in their work.

Responsibilities

- Perform daily inspections and preventative maintenance
- Diagnose and repair trucks, trailers, and mechanical breakdowns
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, air, fuel, brake, and DPF systems
- Work on Mack, Peterbilt, Freightliner, and Manac trailers
- Use diagnostic scanning systems and hand/power tools
- Complete accurate work orders for all repairs
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized shop and work area
- Follow all company health and safety policies
- Work indoors and outdoors as required

What We're Looking For

- Journeyman / Trade Certificate required
- Minimum 2 years of heavy-duty mechanical experience




- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Welding and fabrication experience is an asset
- Must have your own tools
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Must be willing to work overtime and weekends when required
- Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently

What We Offer Starting wage: $45.00/hour – more for the right candidate
