About the Role

We are seeking a Digital Architect – Data to provide architecture leadership across digital transformation, service innovation, and program delivery initiatives. The role will work with cross-functional Agile teams to design scalable, user-centric digital services while aligning solutions with enterprise architecture, technical standards, and modern data practices.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead solution architecture and develop architectural plans for digital services.
- Define solution designs that support iterative Agile delivery and citizen-centered experiences.
- Assess existing systems, technical dependencies, impacts, risks, and opportunities.
- Define integration approaches, system boundaries, interfaces, and reusable components.
- Provide technical guidance on detailed designs, code reviews, and implementation.
- Contribute to data architecture, domain modeling, database schemas, and interoperability.
- Support technical discovery, feasibility assessments, and prototypes.
- Coach and mentor product teams and collaborate with Product Owners and technical stakeholders.
- Develop architecture documentation, diagrams, presentations, standards, and technical guidance.

Mandatory Skills & Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or an accepted equivalent.
- 15+ years leading cross-functional Agile product teams.
- 18+ years as a Data Architect, Software Architect, or Senior Data Engineer.
- 15+ years leading solution architecture and establishing overall technical direction.
- 14+ years leading domain modeling and database schema design.
- 15+ years communicating complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.

- 13+ years aligning data architecture with organizational data strategies.
- 13+ years applying data governance principles for data quality and consistency.
- 14+ years applying secure development practices.
- 15+ years architecting solutions using relational and non-relational databases.
- 12+ years working with cross-functional teams on data interoperability.
- 15+ years modernizing legacy systems into digital solutions.
- 12+ years experience within a large, complex IT/IM environment.
- 13+ years working within organizations of comparable size and complexity.
