The Digital Literacy Teacher delivers CVALA’s Digital Literacy Program throughout the Central Valley region, primarily in the greater Fredericton area.

Qualifications

- A Bachelor of Education or Adult Education Certificate is preferred. Candidates willing to complete the certificate within five years may also be considered.
- Strong communication, teaching and digital literacy skills.
- Experience teaching digital literacy and facilitating individual or group learning is an asset.
- Ability to support learners with diverse needs and learning styles.

- Ability to obtain a clean criminal record check.
- Must live in Recent Brunswick within reasonable driving distance of the communities served.
- A reliable vehicle and regular travel throughout the region are required.

Responsibilities

- Deliver engaging lessons tailored to learners’ goals, skill levels and learning needs.
- Conduct intake assessments and plan learning activities.
- Complete program administration, including reports, timesheets, progress reports and learner files.
- Support marketing, learner recruitment and session scheduling.




- Maintain the resources and equipment required for program delivery.
- Attend team meetings and professional development activities.
- Collaborate with the Regional Team and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Work 25 hours per week and complete other duties as required.
