As a Director, Asset Management, you’ll:

- Lead Canpotex's enterprise asset management strategy across our network of export terminals, critical supply chain infrastructure and capital portfolio management.
- Establish and maintain the asset management framework, governance processes, standards and policies that support terminal infrastructure and critical operating systems.
- Lead the development and execution of long-term asset health and reliability strategies across all terminals and critical supply chain infrastructure that support safe, reliable, and timely shipments of potash to customers around the world.
- Responsible for managing Canpotex’s capital portfolio, ensuring long range asset health is incorporated, along with Canpotex’s overall strategy
- Support terminal operations in operating and capital budget development
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on reducing asset-related operational disruptions and lifecycle costs.
- Assess future infrastructure requirements associated with changing market demands, terminal expansion opportunities, and business growth strategies.
- Provide strategic direction for sustaining capital programs and major asset renewal initiatives.
- Collaborate with Project Engineers and operational stakeholders to ensure alignment between project delivery, asset strategy and operational requirements.

You’ll bring:

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering; Mechanical Engineering is preferred.
- A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in asset management, maintenance, reliability engineering, terminal operations or industrial operations environments.




- Must be registered or eligible for registration with APEGS.
- Minimum of five years of leadership experience managing engineering, maintenance, reliability, operational or technical teams in an asset-intensive environment.
- Deep understanding of bulk material handling systems and equipment, such as conveyors, reclaimers, shiploaders, heavy-duty mobile equipment, and marine terminal infrastructure.
- Demonstrated experience developing and executing asset management, maintenance, reliability, and lifecycle management strategies that improve equipment performance, availability, and long-term asset value.
- Experience leading asset planning and investment decisions within industrial, mining, transportation, marine terminal, bulk handling, or supply chain environments.
- Experience managing capital portfolios and asset renewal programs would be considered an asset.
- Professional certifications or designations such as Asset Management, Reliability Engineering, PMP, or an MBA would be considered an asset.
