Reporting to the Vice President, Students & Enrolment, the Director, Centre for Learning and Innovation provides institution-wide leadership for academic quality assurance, curriculum and program development, teaching excellence, faculty development, educational technology, library services, learning systems, and applied research. As a strategic leader, the Director translates institutional priorities into integrated services and initiatives that support academic schools while advancing innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement across the College.

We are seeking a visionary and collaborative leader who is passionate about educational innovation, academic quality, faculty development, and strategic institutional growth. The successful candidate will lead transformational initiatives that enhance teaching practices, advance the use of emerging technologies, support applied research, and strengthen Assiniboine's position as a leader in applied education.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

- Graduate degree in education, higher education, curriculum and instruction, educational technology, organizational leadership, or a related discipline; an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
- Minimum seven years of progressively responsible post-secondary experience, including significant leadership responsibility; experience within a college or polytechnic environment is preferred.
- Demonstrated leadership experience in academic quality assurance, curriculum development, faculty development, educational innovation, or related areas.
- Proven success leading multidisciplinary teams, organizational change initiatives, and strategic planning processes.

Working collaboratively with academic schools and service departments,



the Centre supports the development of responsive, inclusive, and innovative educational experiences that enhance student success and institutional effectiveness.

The Centre provides leadership in curriculum development, faculty development, academic quality assurance, digital learning, educational technology, learning management systems, library services, and applied research. Through collaboration, innovation, and evidence-informed practice, the Centre helps ensure that Assiniboine remains responsive to changing learner needs and emerging trends in higher education.
