The Opportunity

· Serve as the senior insurance leader within the organization.

· Develop people, leaders and technical insurance capabilities.

· Strengthen Personal and Commercial Lines expertise

· Improve business performance and help execute ambitious growth objectives.

· Influence leadership development, sales performance, service excellence, operations, and strategic planning.

Leadership & Culture

· Provide direct leadership and accountability for the Sales and Service functions, including performance management, staffing, training, workflows, KPIs and customer experience

· Build a high-performance culture grounded in accountability and professionalism.

· Establish clear expectations, metrics, and development plans.

· Recruit, retain, and mentor top talent.

Sales, Growth & Retention

· Drive achievement of brokerage growth objectives.

· Improve producer effectiveness and sales performance.

· Support pipeline management and sales accountability.

· Partner with ownership on growth initiatives and market expansion.

· Coach brokers on technical knowledge, sales & service strategy and account development.





· Identify opportunities for cross-selling, retention and additional organic growth.

Insurance Operations

· Lead brokerage operations and service excellence.

· Improve workflows, processes, and operational efficiency.

· Develop systems that support scalable growth.

· Oversee compliance, quality assurance, and service standards.

Personal & Commercial Lines Leadership

· Serve as the brokerage's senior technical insurance resource.

· Provide coverage review

· Strengthen insurer and underwriting relationships.

· Build and lead the brokerage's personal & commercial insurance strategy, technical expertise, training, carrier relationships, and growth initiatives.

Strategic Leadership

· Partner with ownership on long-term planning.

· Analyze productivity, retention, profitability, and growth metrics.

· Lead strategic projects and operational improvement initiatives.

· Build the management infrastructure required for future growth.

Qualifications

· 10+ years of insurance industry experience.

· Strong personal & commercial insurance experience.

· Leadership experience within a brokerage, insurer, MGA, or similar organization.

· Demonstrated success developing people and managing performance.

· Solid operational and business management capabilities.

· Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

· RIBO licence required.

· CIP, CAIB, CRM, or equivalent designation preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
