We are seeking a confident and enthusiastic Dog Daycare attendant to join our team. If you love dogs, have strong customer service skills, and can handle physical tasks associated with caring for them, you’ll be a great fit.

This position is responsible for providing a safe, fun, and engaging environment for dogs in our care. You will interact with both the dogs and their owners to ensure a positive experience for everyone. You will also support our retail business, providing customer service in our retail shop as required.

Responsibilities

- Supervise and engage with dogs in playgroups to ensure safety and proper behavior.
- Monitor the health and well-being of all dogs in the daycare, reporting any management concerns.




- Maintain the cleanliness of the facility by regularly cleaning play areas, kennels, and equipment.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with dog owners regarding their pets' activities and needs.
- Assist in our retail store, providing your knowledge and advice to help our clients select the best product for their pets.
- Follow all safety protocols to ensure a secure workplace for both dogs, clients and staff.
- Participate in learning activities to enhance skills related to dog behavior and care.

Qualifications

- Previous experience working with dogs or in a pet care environment is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with pet owners.
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including being on your feet for extended periods
- Able to work alone and in a team environment.
- A genuine love for animals and a commitment to their well-being
- Must be able to work flexible hours (M-F between 7 am and 8 pm), including occasional Saturdays (9 am-5pm) as required.
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Pet first aid is a plus.

Pay: $15.00-$19.00 per hour
