Dog Walker & Pet Sitter

South Surrey / White Rock | $18.25–$21/hour | 20–30 hours/week

Adventure Hounds Dog Walking Services is looking for a reliable, caring, and responsible Dog Walker & Pet Sitter to join our team in South Surrey and White Rock.

This is a Monday–Friday, long-term position for someone who genuinely enjoys working with dogs, staying active, and spending time outdoors.

You’ll work with regular clients and their pets, providing consistent care and becoming someone both pets and their owners can count on.

We’re looking for someone who can commit to at least one year and is interested in building a stable position with our team.

What You’ll Do

Your days will be active and varied. Responsibilities may include:

- Walking and exercising dogs of different sizes, breeds, ages, and temperaments
- Safely handling multiple dogs while maintaining control and awareness
- Following individual care instructions, routines, and behaviour guidelines
- Providing pet sitting and occasional house sitting in clients’ homes
- Feeding pets, providing exercise, administering medication when required, and handling other care needs
- Keeping clients’ homes and pet areas clean and tidy
- Communicating professionally with clients and the team
- Following daily schedules and completing visits on time
- Working independently while following established procedures
- Driving between client homes and walking locations
- Working outdoors year-round in a variety of weather conditions

This is an active job that involves a lot of walking, driving, and being on your feet throughout the day. You should be comfortable staying active for most of your workday and working outdoors in a variety of weather conditions.

Schedule & Pay

- Monday–Friday
- Approximately 20–30 hours per week
- Work is scheduled between 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM
- Hours may vary from day to day depending on client needs
- $18.25–$21/hour, depending on experience
- Vacation pay and statutory holiday pay
- Weekends and holidays are not part of the regular schedule




- Minimum one-year commitment

A company vehicle is available for most work-related driving. A valid driver’s licence and reliable access to a personal vehicle are required for occasional situations where your own vehicle may be needed. Mileage is reimbursed when your personal vehicle is used for work.

- Respectful and qualified in clients’ homes
- Comfortable driving between client locations
- Consistently available Monday–Friday between 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM
- Looking for a long-term position

Previous professional dog-walking or pet-care experience is an asset, but not required. Training will be provided to the right candidate.
