TruSpec eliminates the risk of damaged pipe by ensuring BHA tools, Drill Pipe and Tubing are thoroughly inspected.

As our company is growing we are looking to add a member to our team. The successful candidate should have a minimum 1 year experience in the NDT field with common knowledge of Drill Pipe and BHA Inspection. The candidate should have in-depth knowledge of API Standards and classification.

The position is a LABOUR intensive position, working outside in the elements. Out of town when the calls come in with plenty of overtime and LOA. When not in the field, shop hours are available at min 8 hours a day (not required but available if needed).

Successful candidate must have

- Mechanically inclined
- Class 5 with reliable vehicle is a must
- Valid H2S, and First Aid is a benefit
- Must be able to go out of town when the call comes as most of our work is field work




- Must be able to work outside in the elements (Heat, Cold, Rain, Snow)

Wage $32.00 - $35.00 pending work experience and knowledge. Please note - There is travel required with this position as there is a lot of field work. Due to the nature of the job, sometimes there is little notice as to when travel will come up, often resulting in working over or through the weekend. Working overtime is a requirement for this position.

The following tickets would be an asset but are not required and will determine the starting wage.

- IPIA or ASNT
- Level 1 or 2 Magnetic Particle Inspection

- Level 1 EMI Inspection

- Drillpipe Inspection

- BHA Inspection

- Visual Thread Inspection

-H2S Alive A Valid Class 5 drivers license is required. All applicants will be looked at individually based on their work experience and only candidates that are suitable for this position will be contacted for an interview.
