Join our team as a Dry Cleaning Assistant, where your energy and attention to detail will help deliver exceptional laundry and cleaning services to our valued customers.

In this role, you will support the daily operations of the dry cleaning process, ensuring garments are handled with care, cleaned efficiently, and returned in pristine condition. Your proactive approach and dedication will contribute to a seamless customer experience and uphold our reputation for quality service.

As this is a specialized position, a successful candidate will likely require a training period of 1-3 months. During this period, the wage will be $19 – 20 per hour depending on relevant experience and will increase post-training.

Duties

- Operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently to ensure garments are cleaned and pressed to a high standard;
- Sort, tag and inspect customer garments prior to dry cleaning and laundry services to determine the treatments required;
- Review orders for the day to ensure they are completed, bagged and ready to go by their pick-up time;
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure the daily production requirements are met;
- Provide excellent customer service by taking in customer garments,



ensuring customers receive the correct garments in return, and answering any inquiries they may have.

A successful candidate will:

- Have prior customer service experience; will be able to provide a friendly and streamlined service for our valued customers;
- Have previous experience with fabrics and laundry services or will be a quick study for on the job training in these areas;
- Be able to perform physical tasks (such as lifting up to 30 lbs) and work on their feet for the duration of their shift (minus breaks);
- Have an eye for detail and apply it to their work;
- Be open to on-the-job training on how to use numerous presses and machines;
- Be a reliable and positive-minded team player.
