Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Drywall Finisher to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for applying finishing touches to drywall surfaces, ensuring smooth, seamless walls and ceilings that meet our high standards of quality and craftsmanship. Your expertise will contribute to creating visually appealing and structurally sound interiors for a variety of commercial and residential projects.

We Dont do commercial Until spring of 2027.

Responsibilities

- Finish drywall surfaces by sanding, taping, and applying joint compound to achieve a smooth, even finish in preparation for a painting crew to apply primer
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to accurately execute drywall installation and finishing tasks
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, patching holes, and applying primer or sealant as needed before finishing




- Use hand tools and power tools efficiently for cutting, sanding, caulking, and sealing drywall joints
- Perform construction touch-ups & Skim-Overs (level 5) to enhance the overall appearance of walls and ceilings
- Apply caulking around seams, corners, and fixtures to ensure airtight and watertight finishes
- Collaborate with carpenters, painters, and other trades to coordinate project timelines and quality standards

Qualifications

- Proven experience in drywall finishing or related construction roles with a solid understanding of drywall techniques
- Skilled in construction painting, caulking, carpentry, and general handyman tasks
- Ability to read blueprints accurately and follow detailed instructions
- Hands-on experience with drywall installation, taping, sanding, and finishing processes
- Knowledge of safety protocols on construction sites to maintain a secure work environment
- Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift heavy materials, and work at heights as required
