Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Learning and Childcare Assistant Director to help lead and support our early childhood education programs. Duties

- Assist in managing daily classroom activities, ensuring a secure, engaging, and inclusive environment for children of various ages and abilities
- Support the implementation of developmentally appropriate curriculum plans that promote learning through play and exploration with a Reggio inspired approach.
- Supervise and mentor teaching staff, providing guidance on best practices in early childhood education and caregiving
- Collaborate with families to communicate children's progress, address concerns, and foster strong community relationships




- Ensure compliance with all licensing regulations, health and safety standards, and organizational policies
- Assist in maintaining accurate records related to attendance, developmental assessments, and incident reports

Experience

- Proven classroom experience working with young children in early childhood settings
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs to support inclusive education
- Demonstrated teaching skills with a strong understanding of early childhood education principles
- Background in caregiving roles that emphasize nurturing and supporting children's emotional well-being
- Prior leadership or supervisory experience in a childcare or educational environment is preferred
- Knowledge of licensing requirements and health & safety protocols for early learning programs in Saskatchewan.
- ECE level 3 preferred

Pay: $19.10-$24.12 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
