Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Assistant to support early childhood education and caregiving activities. This role involves working closely with children, including those with disabilities, to foster a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in teaching or caregiving settings, particularly with young children, and possess a genuine passion for helping others learn and grow.

Responsibilities

- Assist lead teachers or caregivers in implementing educational activities and lesson plans tailored to young children’s developmental needs
- Support children during classroom activities, ensuring they are engaged, safe, and supported
- Provide care and supervision for children with disabilities, adapting activities as needed to meet individual needs
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom workplace




- Support children’s social-emotional development through positive interactions and encouragement
- Assist with daily routines such as meal times, nap times, and personal hygiene
- Collaborate with team members to create an inclusive and supportive learning atmosphere
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff to promote a positive educational experience

Experience

- Prior classroom experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Experience working with children, especially those with disabilities or special needs, is highly desirable
- Background in teaching or early childhood education is an advantage
- Demonstrated caregiving skills and patience when working with young children
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Passion for supporting children's growth and development through engaging activities and compassionate care

Job Type: Full-time Pay: $18.50-$19.00 per hour
