About Grail Foundry

Grail Foundry is a new ecommerce business focused on rare, collectible and hard-to-find video games, consoles, trading cards and gaming collectibles.

We're building more than a traditional used-game store. Grail Foundry is intended to become a destination for collectors—from nostalgic favourites to genuinely rare and valuable “grail” pieces.

As we prepare for launch, I'm looking for someone to work directly with me on the operational side of the business. This is a hands-on position combining inventory management, ecommerce, product research, online selling, fulfillment and convention sales.

For the right person, there is significant opportunity to learn and take on greater responsibility as the business grows.

What You'll Do

Inventory & Organization

- Organize, categorize, label and shelve video games, consoles, trading cards, collectibles and other merchandise.
- Maintain accurate physical inventory and ensure products can be easily located.
- Clean and prepare merchandise for photography, listing and sale.
- Inspect products and accurately document condition and completeness.
- Help establish and maintain SKUs and inventory-management processes.

Pricing & Product Research

- Research current market values using PriceCharting, eBay sold listings and other relevant marketplaces.
- Help price inventory for GrailFoundry.com, conventions and other sales channels.
- Account for condition, completeness, edition/variant, region and current market demand when researching prices.
- Identify inventory that should be discounted, bundled, held or sold through alternative channels.

Ecommerce & Marketplace Management

- Manage Grail Foundry's eBay store/account and help grow it as an additional sales channel.
- Create, optimize and maintain eBay listings, including titles, descriptions, item specifics, categories, pricing and photographs.
- Research eBay sold/completed listings to establish appropriate market pricing.
- Manage offers, promotions, markdowns and listing updates where appropriate.
- Monitor active listings and identify stale inventory that needs repricing or another sales strategy.
- Cross-list inventory across GrailFoundry.com, eBay, Facebook Marketplace and other appropriate marketplaces while keeping inventory quantities accurate.
- Promptly remove or update cross-listed products when an item sells on another platform.
- Help respond professionally to buyer inquiries.
- Assist with eBay orders,



shipping and fulfillment.
- Maintain accurate records of selling prices, platform fees, shipping costs and net proceeds.
- Help monitor eBay performance and identify opportunities to increase sales.

Spreadsheets, Inventory & Financial Records

- Maintain detailed inventory spreadsheets.
- Track information such as acquisition cost, SKU, condition, asking price, sale price, selling platform and date sold.
- Maintain purchase and sales records that can be used for bookkeeping and tax preparation.
- Help reconcile physical inventory against inventory records.
- Keep supporting documentation organized.

Orders & Fulfillment

- Pick and pack sold merchandise.
- Prepare orders for shipment.
- Ensure the correct item and condition are being shipped.
- Help maintain shipping and packing supplies.
- Keep sold, listed and unlisted inventory clearly separated.

Conventions & Events

- Help select and price inventory for conventions.
- Prepare displays, price labels and merchandise before events.
- Assist with setup and teardown.
- Help customers and complete sales.
- Monitor inventory throughout events.
- Occasional weekend availability will be required.

I'm looking for someone who is trustworthy, highly organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and genuinely interested in video games, TCGs, collectibles, and ecommerce. You do not need to know everything on day one. I'm looking for someone who enjoys learning, takes initiative, and wants to develop recent skills as Grail Foundry grows.

Previous hands-on eBay selling experience is required. You should understand how to create and manage listings, research sold/completed listings, optimize titles and item specifics, categorize products, price inventory, manage offers, and understand the general eBay seller workflow.

You should be:

- Extremely organized and careful with valuable inventory.
- Reliable, trustworthy, and able to work independently once trained.
- Experienced with eBay and comfortable helping manage an active seller account/store.
- Knowledgeable about, or genuinely passionate about, video games, TCGs, and/or collectibles.
- Comfortable researching unfamiliar products rather than guessing their value.
- Comfortable using spreadsheets and learning inventory/ecommerce systems.
- Able to maintain accurate records for inventory, purchases,



sales, expenses, and financial tracking.
- Comfortable creating listings and cross-listing products across eBay, Facebook Marketplace, GrailFoundry.com, and other sales channels.
- Comfortable cleaning, sorting, categorizing, shelving, packing, and shipping merchandise.
- Comfortable interacting with customers and selling at conventions.
- Available for occasional weekend conventions and events.
- Able to safely lift and move boxes of inventory when required.
- Interested in learning more about ecommerce, marketing, merchandising, operations, and entrepreneurship.
- Someone who takes initiative and looks for ways to sell inventory, improve organization, and help the business generate revenue.

Experience with Shopify, PriceCharting, Facebook Marketplace, Google Sheets/Excel, product photography, inventory management, shipping/fulfillment, or convention/retail sales is an additional asset.
