Assignment:

- Full time 1.0 Educational Assistant position
Duties to commence as soon as possible and will continue until January 29, 2027, with the possibility of extension
- - To provide support and assistance to diverse learners in a one-on-one setting, in small groups, and within the classroom

Qualifications and/or Assets:

- Experience/Background working with academic and/or behavioural needs
- Ability to work one-on-one with a student in an inclusive environment
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a positive personality
- Ability to formulate strong and healthy relationships
- Work harmoniously with teachers and other support staff
- Flexibility to work in a variety of programs and assigned duties




- Calm and patient approach to solving problems
- Reliability and eager to learn would be considered an asset
- Strong interpersonal skills and a positive personality
- Willingness to work collaboratively in a team-oriented learning environment
- Ability to demonstrate empathy, compassion, and patience
- Background and/or Experience and/or training as an Educational Assistant would be considered an asset
