Duties

- Assist classroom teachers with daily instructional activities, ensuring smooth and effective lessons.
- Support students with their learning tasks, providing one-on-one or small group assistance as needed.
- Use American Sign Language (ASL) to facilitate communication for students with hearing impairments or language needs.
- Implement tailored strategies for students with disabilities or special education requirements, promoting an inclusive classroom environment.
- Help supervise children during activities, transitions, lunch breaks, and outdoor play to ensure safety and engagement.
- Support the development of foundational skills in math, literacy, and early childhood education through interactive activities.
- Communicate effectively with students, teachers,



parents, and specialists to support student progress and well-being.

Experience

- Prior classroom experience working with children in educational or childcare settings is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated experience working with individuals with disabilities or in special education environments is a strong asset.
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices to support young learners’ development.
- Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) or willingness to learn ASL to enhance communication accessibility.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members, students, and families.
- Experience in teaching or supporting math instruction at the early childhood level is advantageous.

Pay: $50,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
