Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing electrical system designs, and creating detailed schematics, within panel manufacturing, construction, and renovations.

This position is not affiliated with Engineering in Alberta. PB Tec provides design services for a unique greenhouse, agriculture, and water treatment market.

We require our technicians to be independent and fully design electrical systems without assistance from engineers.

Responsibilities

- Develop detailed electrical schematics and system designs using AutoCAD and other CAD software.
- Create comprehensive documentation including schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical reports.
- Collaborate with engineers, and project managers to integrate electrical systems into overall project plans.
- Support manufacturing and construction teams by providing technical guidance during installation and commissioning phases.
- Use Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) for documentation.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high quality standards through effective time management and organizational skills.

Qualifications





- Electrical Engineering Technology program, Control Engineering Technology program, or related field; advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.
- Proven experience in electrical system design within manufacturing, construction, or renovations.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Project, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook.
- Strong knowledge of electrical schematics, system design principles, PLC programming, and construction procedures.
- Familiarity with manufacturing practices and project management methodologies.
- Knowledge of mechanical concepts as they relate to electrical systems is advantageous.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to lead projects from conception through completion while managing multiple priorities effectively. Job Type: Full-time Pay: $60,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
