Electrician - Service Truck Lead

We are seeking an experienced third- or fourth-year electrical apprentice or journeyperson electrician to take responsibility for a service truck. This position involves completing daily service calls and managing a wide range of residential and commercial projects along with these service calls. Previous experience operating a service truck is 100% required.

The successful candidate must be comfortable working independently, troubleshooting unfamiliar issues, and taking ownership of each job from start to finish.

Responsibilities

- Operate and maintain an assigned service truck
- Complete daily residential and commercial service calls
- Run small to medium-sized projects independently
- Troubleshoot electrical problems and develop practical solutions
- Accurately track labour, materials, and job-related expenses
- Maintain organized records for each project
- Communicate professionally with customers, contractors, and team members
- Plan material requirements and keep the service truck organized and stocked
- Complete work safely, efficiently, and in accordance with applicable electrical codes
- Provide transparent updates on job progress, changes, and additional work required

Qualifications
- Third- or fourth-year electrical apprentice, or licensed journeyperson electrician




- Previous experience operating a service truck is 100% required
- Well-rounded knowledge of residential and commercial electrical systems
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Experience planning and completing projects from start to finish
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to track labour and materials accurately
- Professional communication and customer-service skills
- Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record
- Own basic hand tools and appropriate safety equipment
