École McTavish High School is seeking a highly motivated individual to join our instructional team in the role of High School Social Studies 10/20/30.

Requirements: The ideal candidate would possess the following background, philosophy, and experience:

- Bachelor of Education
- BA with a major in History

Desired Qualifications/Skills: It will be an asset to have:

- Previous experience teaching Social Studies at the 10/20/30 level.
- The ability to work in a team environment with staff and parents.
- A base knowledge of differentiated instruction techniques.
- Effective organization skills and classroom management.
- The ability to utilize technology as an instructional tool.
- An ability to design and implement Individual Program Plans for special needs students.
- A willingness to participate in the school community beyond the classroom.
- An interest in teaching a wide variety of electives.




- A commitment to continuous skilled growth and a strong ability to connect and build relationships with high school students.
