Description

Join the Test & Trials Team and play a key role in supporting the successful delivery of the River Class Destroyer Program. Working closely with the Manager, Test & Trials and Team Leads, you will help develop and maintain plans, schedules, and program documentation that support product acceptance and contractual delivery milestones.

This position contributes directly to the development of key testing and integration deliverables, including the Master Integration, Test & Evaluation Schedule (MITES), Verification Cross-Reference Matrix (VCRM), and Integrated Test & Trials Plan (ITTP).

Responsibilities

- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop and maintain the MITES, VCRM, and ITTP.
- Coordinate with the Planning Department to ensure alignment between the MITES and the Integrated Master Schedule.
- Support Engineering Delivery Teams and contribute to the execution of the River Class Destroyer Test & Trials Program.
- Assist with additional Test & Trials deliverables and initiatives as required.




- Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities within the Test & Trials function.
- Support risk identification, assessment, and mitigation activities across the program.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology Diploma.
- Up to 6 years of relevant experience, with an understanding of applicable engineering and testing standards.
- Project Management certification (PMP) or progress toward certification is considered an asset.
- Knowledge of naval shipbuilding programs, particularly the integration of Platform Systems, Combat Systems, and Commissioning activities, is an asset.

Due to the nature of work Irving Shipbuilding does, all successful applicants must meet requirements for the Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP), Canadian Government Security clearance, and U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
