We currently have an opportunity available for an Engineer, Quality Assurance. Reporting to the Production Manager, this position is responsible for performing the duties and responsibilities which include, but are not limited to, the following:

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Conduct assigned internal maintenance department audits and inspections, ensuring completion in accordance with the annual audit program and established timelines.
- Perform external vendor and maintenance organization audits to verify compliance with company standards, regulatory requirements, and contractual obligations.
- Conduct hangar floor compliance monitoring and surveillance activities to ensure maintenance personnel are qualified, authorized, and appropriately supervised when performing assigned tasks.
- Review and assess permanent aircraft weight and balance changes to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance.
- Prepare and submit Service Difficulty Reports (SDRs) to Transport Canada as required.
- Prepare and submit Major Repair and Major Modification Reports to Transport Canada in accordance with applicable regulations.
- Investigate audit findings and identified discrepancies to determine root causes and document outcomes within the company's Safety Management System (SMS).




- Develop corrective action plans to effectively address audit findings, non-conformances, and identified risks.
- Verify and validate corrective actions to ensure their effectiveness and long-term sustainability.
- Develop, revise, and document processes, procedures, and work instructions.
- Manage revisions to approved manuals and controlled documents, ensuring distribution and publication in accordance with company document control procedures.
- Prepare and publish memos and other quality assurance communications in accordance with document control requirements.
- Identify, report, and escalate safety concerns, hazards, and regulatory compliance issues through appropriate reporting channels.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing safety, regulatory compliance, operational effectiveness, and maintenance reliability.
- Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned.

The successful candidate should possess the following qualifications and competencies. In addition personality profiling will be required of all candidates granted an interview for this position.

Qualifications, Experience and Competencies:

- Valid Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) licence considered an asset.
- Formal internal auditor training considered an asset.
- Previous internal auditing experience considered an asset.
- Root cause analysis training considered an asset.
- Experience with aviation quality assurance and regulatory compliance programs considered an asset.




- Working knowledge of Transport Canada regulations and Safety Management Systems (SMS) considered an asset.cessful candidate should possess the following qualifications and competencies;
- Minimum five (5) years of experience in aircraft maintenance.
- Proficient in the use of computer applications and technology, with intermediate-level skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Demonstrated ability to prepare reports, analyze data, maintain records, and develop professional correspondence using Microsoft Office applications.
- Demonstrated adaptability and ability to respond effectively to changing priorities and operational requirements.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and meeting established deadlines.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with a robust attention to detail and the ability to prioritize competing demands.
