Position Summary The Epic Go-Live Consultant provides at-the-elbow support during Epic implementations, upgrades, and activation events. This position plays a critical role in supporting end users during periods of significant organizational change.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide at-the-elbow support for Epic end users during go-live and stabilization activities.
- Assist clinicians and staff with Epic workflows, navigation, documentation, order entry, and application-specific functionality.
- Observe user workflows and identify opportunities to improve adoption and efficiency.
- Support physicians, nurses, revenue cycle teams, and operational departments as they transition to Epic.
- Document issues, answer workflow questions, and escalate technical concerns through established support channels.
- Participate in command center activities, issue tracking, and daily status meetings.
- Reinforce training concepts and Epic best practices.
- Monitor issue resolution and provide timely follow-up to end users.

Required Qualifications

- Previous experience supporting at least 2 Epic go-lives in the last 5 years required.
- Experience supporting healthcare operations, clinical workflows, revenue cycle workflows,



or healthcare technology projects.
- Robust understanding of end-user support methodologies and issue escalation processes.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and overnight shifts during go-live periods.

Preferred Qualifications

- Previous Epic go-live, implementation, training, command center, or support experience.
- Clinical background strongly preferred.
- Clinical, healthcare operations, or informatics experience preferred.
