HLS a very large laundry facility is looking for a Maintenance Technician

*Maintain, repair and overhaul equipment including pneumatics, hydraulics, conveyors, pumps, filters, motors and gearbox.

*Read and interpret drawings, manuals, blueprints, electrical schematics in order to troubleshoot, maintain and repair equipment.

*Troubleshoot, including such areas as PLC, servo, motor controls, various sensors, pneumatics, hydraulics, equipment and other related systems.

*hands on experience in mechanical and electrical applications with great problem solving skills.

*Use hand tools like power tools and well versed with all the tools to complete the task.

*Ensure that all machines and work areas are organized and clean at all times.

Skills and Requirements

*Must have extensive knowledge and background in electronics, instrumentation and automation.

*3 to 5 years experience as a maintenance mechanics in a fast paced environment.

*Mechanically and electrical background with great problem solving skills.

*Demonstrate technical knowledge with hydraulics, pumps, motors, conveyors, shaft alignment, pulleys, belts,



bearings and the ability to troubleshoot and diagnose failures of same.

*Ability to work independently.

*Must be flexible in scheduling and working hours.

*Previous laundry / maintenance experience consider as an asset.

*Scissor lift and forklift license consider as an asset.

Position summary

Supporting the maintenance manager/ supervisor to ensure operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on motors, pneumatics, conveyor systems and production machines, following diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, manufactures instructions and engineering specifications and troubleshooting malfunctions. Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of production machines. Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.

Pay: $28.00-$31.00 per hour
