About the Role

We are looking for an experienced US Equity Trader to join our trading team. The role will primarily focus on the U.S. equity market, with additional exposure to Hong Kong equities where applicable.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on live trading experience, strong market awareness, disciplined risk management, and the ability to independently execute and review trading strategies.

Key Responsibilities

- Execute daily trading activities primarily in U.S. equities, with additional exposure to Hong Kong equities where required.
- Develop and execute trading plans based on market conditions, internal strategies, and risk parameters.
- Monitor market movements, liquidity, order flow, positions, and trading risks in real time.
- Identify trading opportunities across individual equities, ETFs, sectors, and broader market themes.
- Manage positions and exposure in accordance with established risk limits.
- Review trading performance, execution quality, P&L;, and risk metrics, and continuously improve trading methods.
- Collaborate with quantitative research, risk, technology, and operations teams to improve strategies and trading processes.
- Maintain clear trading records and provide regular performance and market updates.

Qualifications





- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 2+ years of professional trading experience, preferably in U.S. equities.
- Strong understanding of U.S. equity market structure, order types, liquidity, execution, and trading hours.
- Proven live-market trading experience with strong risk awareness and execution discipline.
- Ability to independently analyze market conditions and make timely trading decisions.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Experience with Bloomberg, Interactive Brokers, TradingView, or other professional trading systems is preferred.
- Experience with Python, SQL, quantitative trading, or systematic strategies is an asset.
- Solid English communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in proprietary trading, hedge funds, asset management, or brokerage trading desks.
- Experience trading U.S. equities, ETFs, or equity options.
- Exposure to systematic trading, algorithmic execution, or quantitative research.
- Experience across both U.S. and Hong Kong markets is preferred.

Pay: $80,000.00-$150,000.00 per year
