Company Overview The Chappelle Gardens Residents Association (CGRA) is a not-for-profit corporation whose purpose is to manage, maintain, and operate the RA amenities.
CGRA owns, operates, and maintains the Chappelle Gardens Social House, a 6,600 sq. ft. exclusive community lifestyle centre situated on a 5-acre site. The main building serves as the primary entrance to the park and includes multi-use rooms, gathering spaces, and amenity spaces.
The exclusive park provides activities for all seasons, including an outdoor splash park, playground, hockey rink/basketball/pickleball area, pleasure rink, community toolshed, and picnic spaces. CGRA also maintains several acres of paved trails, green spaces, corner features, and community outdoor gym space.

Position Summary
Duties Supervisors are responsible for the day-to-day administrative, customer experience, front-end, facility, and operational support requirements of CGRA. The position is a key point of contact for residents, guests, and Front-End Team members and provides coordination between departments to ensure operations are safe, organized, responsive, and welcoming.
This role combines administrative leadership, resident onboarding, team support, facility monitoring, safety oversight, inventory, customer-service response, communications, and support for programs, rentals, and events.
Duties
Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, the Duties Supervisor will be responsible for the following:
Operations and Administrative Functions
- Provide front-line service for residents and guests and ensure a welcoming, professional customer experience.
- Serve as the main point of contact during a shift for the Front-End Team and provide day-to-day guidance and support.
- Troubleshoot membership and resident account concerns and assist with questions regarding programs, rentals, amenities, and services.
- Process membership, program, room-rental,
and other applicable payments accurately.
- Prepare and support customer-experience requirements for Social House events, bookings, programs, and rentals.
- Manage challenging customer interactions professionally and empathetically, resolving issues where possible and escalating complex or concerning matters to the appropriate support.
- Enforce CGRA rules, regulations, community standards, and amenity requirements consistently and professionally.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain consistent customer-service standards and strategies.
- Provide information for lawyer inquiries related to property sales.
- Maintain and update office procedures and administrative processes.
- Assist the Programs & Events Manager, Bookkeeper, and General Manager with reports and administrative tasks as assigned.
- Create the Front-End Team task schedules, ensuring duties are completed.
- Monitor the presentation, cleanliness, and general functionality of the Social House and amenities.
- Regularly inspect washrooms, change rooms, common areas, and other applicable spaces for cleanliness and functionality.
- Address minor issues directly where appropriate and promptly report larger maintenance concerns to the appropriate personnel.
- Identify operational deficiencies and initiate corrective action or notify the appropriate team member.
- Audit, monitor, and maintain inventories of operational supplies within approved budgetary limits.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory needs and purchases.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Safety
- Participate fully in the CGRA safety program and support the implementation of CGRA safety policies and procedures, including assisting with action plans and follow-up.
- Ensure Workplace Health and Safety requirements and CGRA safety procedures are followed.
- Monitor the facility and amenities for safety deficiencies or potential hazards and initiate corrective action or notify appropriate personnel.
- Ensure protected work conditions are maintained and escalate concerns that require management or specialized support.
- Provide safety orientations to new team members as assigned.
Leadership
- Cultivate a culture of exceptional customer experience and lead team members by example.
- Provide ongoing team onboarding, coaching, and monthly training for all team members.
- Serve as a key operational contact for Front-End Team members and provide support when the General Manager or Facilities & Amenities Foreman is unavailable.
- Act as a bridge between Front-End, Maintenance/Facilities, Programs & Events, and Rentals.
- Coordinate responses to operational issues and ensure appropriate follow-up.
- Communicate complex, concerning, or high-risk situations to the General Manager in a timely and clear manner.

Hours of Employment Hours of employment will generally be scheduled during regular CGRA operating hours and will primarily include Friday, Saturday, and Sunday evenings, as per operational requirements.
The position is required to work evenings, weekends, and special events. Scheduling is subject to change based on the needs of the facility, programming, rentals, seasonal operations, and events.
Wage: $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25.0 – 35.0 per week
