We are seeking a passionate and motivated exercise therapist or Kinesiology student to train minor hockey athletes approximately 3 nights a month. Training would include two one hour sessions per night beginning at 4:30 pm. The ideal candidate will have a background in Kinesiology.
Responsibilities
- Conduct engaging and effective athlete training classes
- Provide instruction on proper exercise techniques, ensuring safety and effectiveness.
- Monitor participants during workouts to provide feedback and encouragement.
- Maintain a clean and organized workout space, ensuring all equipment is properly stored and maintained.
- Foster a positive atmosphere
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of exercise physiology
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire clients.
- Previous experience as a fitness instructor or personal trainer is preferred but not mandatory.
- A passion for health and fitness with a commitment to ongoing professional development.
