Best Brains Learning Center is an after‑school enrichment program designed to enhance the academic skills of students in Math, English, Abacus, Coding, and more. Our goal is to help every child be their best through engaging instruction and a supportive learning environment.

Job Summary

We are looking for an enthusiastic and energetic Coding & Abacus Teacher to join our team! You will teach students (ages 5–14) using the Best Brains curriculum for both subjects. Lesson plans and materials are provided — no grading or prep work required.

ResponsibilitiesCoding

- Teach Scratch, Python, and/or Web Development in small group sessions
- Use the Best Brains Coding curriculum to guide students through fun, structured lessons
- Support students as they learn problem‑solving and creativity through coding
- Provide positive feedback to help students gain confidence

Abacus

- Teach Abacus using all required formulas, finger techniques, and mental‑math methods
- Conduct lively, engaging classes that motivate students
- Demonstrate concepts clearly and guide students through practice drills
- Encourage speed, accuracy,



and confidence through regular exercises

General

- Maintain a positive, energetic classroom environment
- Collaborate with center staff to ensure smooth class flow and student progress
- Communicate effectively with students and parents when needed

Qualifications

- Experience teaching Abacus (required)
- Familiarity with Scratch, Python, and/or HTML/CSS (required)
- Prior teaching or tutoring experience with children
- Strong understanding of Abacus formulas and mental‑math progression
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills
- Energetic, patient, reliable, and enthusiastic

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
