Impact the lives of children and families as a full-time Wellness Program Facilitator in Berens River with Shawenim Abinoojii Inc. Focus on culturally relevant activities to promote wellness.
In this permanent role, you will partner with community leadership to deliver dynamic programs tailored for First Nations children and youth. Your responsibilities will include planning events, maintaining budgets, and promoting health and cultural values within the community.
Key Responsibilities: • Coordinate culturally relevant recreational programs • Partner with local organizations for community initiatives • Document program activities and engage youth • Host events responsive to community needs • Manage program budgets and supplies efficiently
Requirements: • 2-3 years of direct experience in youth engagement • Background in child development and wellness • Solid ability to foster partnerships and communicate • Capacity to travel for community engagement • Valid driver's license and clean driver abstract
