Job Title: Facility Operator

Location: Pitt Meadows Arena

Wage: $25.00 per hour

Schedule: 2–5 nights per week, including weekends

Pitt Meadows Arena is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented part time Facility Operator to join our operations team. This role is responsible for maintaining safe, high-quality ice conditions during evening and weekend programming.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate the Zamboni to resurface ice between rentals and events
- Perform basic ice maintenance and inspections
- Monitor ice conditions and report any issues
- Follow safety procedures and operational guidelines
- Routine facility cleaning

Schedule Details:

- Evening shifts
- 2–4 nights per week
- Weekend availability required

Qualifications:





- Previous Zamboni or ice resurfacing experience preferred (training may be provided)
- IFO certification or higher
- Ability to work independently and reliably
- Physically capable of operating equipment and working in a cold environment
- Valid driver’s license

Compensation:

- $25.00 per hour
