Jaffri Investments Inc. located in Deroche, Mission, BC is looking for 1 farm Supervisor to join their team at the earliest.

Job Duties

- Supervise and co-ordinate the work of general farm workers and harvesting labourers
- Establish work schedules and assign daily tasks
- Oversee blueberry crop operations, including pruning, fertilizing, irrigation and pest control
- Supervise harvest operations and monitor berry yield and quality
- Ensure farm health and safety and bio-security procedures are followed
- Maintain production records, work records and logs
- Hire and train farm workers, including training on the protected use of farm machinery
- Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment, and perform general farm duties as required

Education and Experience

- Completion of high school is required
- More than 1 year of experience is required in related field.
- Language: English

Salary

Salary: $21 per hour for 40 hours/week
